Council

THAT the agenda of the Regular Council meeting of June 8, 2016, be approved as presented.

THAT the following minutes of Council meetings be confirmed and adopted as circulated: Special Council Minutes - Dated May 25, 2016 Council Minutes - Dated May 25, 2016 Committee of the Whole Report 2016-10 (see agenda No. 8 below) - Dated May 25, 2016

THAT the request for by-law exemption related to Refreshment Vehicles (2004-101 – as amended being the Business Licensing By-law) for Mr. M. Cadieux be approved.

THAT the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve Vickie Lynn Wilson to be appointed to the Transit Committee effective June 8th, 2016 for the balance of the Council term.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report 2016-10 related to the Recreation and Community Services Section be approved.

THAT Council approve the deferral of the payment of parkland dedication regarding the property located at 1400 Sandy Bay Road; AND THAT an undertaking be provided to the Town regarding the future payment.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report 2016-10 related to the Transportation and Environmental Services Section be approved with the exception of item 6 b. vi) being that of the Surplus wooden decks and walkways (Main Stree t Trial)

THAT the wooden decks and walkways be exempt from the Sale of Surplus Vehicles and Equipment Policy. AND THAT t he wooden decks and walkways be leased to the downtown businesses where previously installed at a rate comparable to a similar activity within the Town of Penetanguishene. AND FINALLY THAT if leased any cost of the installation and removal of said walkway s and decks be borne by the business owner.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report 2016-10 related to the Finance and Corporate Services Section be approved.

THAT the by-laws 2016-30 and 2016-31 be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

THAT Confirmation By-law 2016-32 be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.
