THAT the following minutes of Council meetings be confirmed and adopted as circulated: Council - June 9, 2021 Special Cou ncil - June 9, 2021

THAT the verbal update from the Chief Administrative Officer be received for information.

THAT the report from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the Proposed OPP Detachment Board for Southern Georgian Bay, dated July 14, 2021, be received; AND THAT Council supports the creation of a single OPP Detachment Board to serve the OPP Southern Georgian Bay Detachment catchment area; AND THAT Council approves submission of a proposal for a thirteen member OPP Detachment Board consisting of one munic ipal representative from each municipality, one community representative from each municipality and three provincial appointees; AND THAT the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to work with the remaining municipalities and District of Muskoka on t he joint proposal to be submitted to the Ministry of the Solicitor General on the proposed composition of the Board by the July 31, 2021 deadline.

THAT Council approves Mayor Leroux's appointment of Karen Chaplin to the Trails Committee for the remainder of the Council term.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report related to the Recreation and Community Services Section be appro ved.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report related to the Planning and Development Services Section be approved.

THAT the recommendations contained within Committee of the Whole Report related to the Transportation and Environmental Services Section be approved.

THAT the recommendations contained within the Special Committee of the Whole Report related to the Planning and Development Services Section be approved.

THAT the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene introduce the following by-law; 2021-39 AND THAT by-laws be read a first time and deemed to be read a second and third time and

THAT co nfirmation by-law 2021-40, be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.
