THAT as per the recommendation of the Planning and Development Services Section and the Finance and Corporate Services Section, the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve the transfer a total of $5,000 from the Main West Secondary Plan 2014 capital project to the Downtown CIP and Urban Guidelines 2014 capital project.

THAT the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene receive the request from Habitat for Humanity North Simcoe pertaining to an extension of the Part Lot Control for Habitat for Humanity; AND THAT the Town Clerk be authorized to bring forward the necessary by-law to extend Part Lot Control to December 31, 2015.

THAT as per the recommendation of the Planning & Development Services Section, the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve the request from Sustainable Severn Sound for $8,200 per year for the next four (4) years, as requested; AND THAT staff be directed to include the funding in the upcoming budget.

THAT as per the recommendation of the Transportation and Environmental Services Section, the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene proceed with the sale of the following Public Works Department Equipment at auction: 1. 2001 – Chevrolet Pick Up Truck – Old #72 (Wastewater Division) 2. 2003 - Chevrolet Venture Van - Old #75 (Water Division) 3. 1994 International Model 5000 Dump Truck - With Frink Blade & Wing, Frink Harness Vin # 2HTTEAYR2RC085388 4. 1998-MT5 Trackless Serial 1703 (Old #68) 5. An Eaton 4 Speed Transmission for a single Axle Dump Truck (old #44) 6. Nederman Smoke Catter for welding – approximately 15 years old 7. 2004 - Wing Make Everest – Sander Parts (Old #76) Serial JG2474 Front Tower JG0085 Rear Tower JG2290 8. Leaf Vacuum – Big T-Vac Leaf Collector – Perkins engine 9. 2007 - 750 Hi-CFM Vacuum excavation System (Water)

THAT as per the recommendation of the Transportation and Environmental Services Section and the Finance & Corporate Services Section, the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve an equipment operator contract position to assist the Roads Division until December 31st, 2014 or until the absent staff has returned to full duties; AND THAT the corporate contingency fund (GL#1-4-1200-7900) be used to provide the $6,526 required to fund this position if the Public Works Administration operating has insufficient funds at year end.

THAT as per the recommendation of the Transportation and Environmental Services Section, the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve the proceeding with the preliminary design of the Payette Reservoir Upgrades project as revised in accordance with the comments received; AND THAT a new parcel delineating the Town owned lands within the 100 m zone of Well Head Protection Area A be created and retained by the Town to protect this area from future significant drinking water threats.

THAT By-law 2014-58, being a By-law to Amend By-law 2012-12 Being a By-law to Exempt Certain Lands from Part Lot Control (87 & 89 Peel Street) be read a first time and deemed to be read a second and third time and
