THAT the Council of the Town of Penetanguishene approve the Special Council agenda for May 29, 2019.

THAT report CAO-2019-07 regarding a follow up to Council on the Regional Government Review be received; THAT staff be directed to proceed with Option 2 being that of a North Simcoe Consideration (Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay) to submit a joint letter to the Province while considering inclusion of themes one (1) through eight (8) plus the inclusion of the opposition to forced amalgam ation and potential boundary adjustments where it makes sense; AND THAT staff be directed to proceed with Option 1 if efforts of a collaborative joint response with the Townships of Tiny and Tay are unsuccessful; AND THAT Council be provided with a copy of the final draft submission to the Province. AND FINALLY THAT Mayor Doug Leroux be authorized to approve the submission to the Province on behalf of Council as prepared by staff.
