Special Section Committee Meeting

THAT the Finance & Corporate Services Section recommends to Council that the Town of Penetanguishene intends to ensure that the increase in the need for services attributable to the anticipated development will be met, subject to sufficient development charge revenues being generated and other Town affordability criteria being met; AND THAT the Town’s intent is tha t the future excess capacity identified in the Study shall be paid for by the development charges or other similar charges; AND FURTHER THAT Council adopt the capital forecasts prepared in conjunction with the Development Charges Background Study for the Town of Penetanguishene dated April 1, 2014; AND FINALLY THAT Council determine that no further public meetings are required under Section 12 of the Act and the Town Clerk be directed to bring forward the necessary By-law for Council approval.
